Just a poem I put together. I don't know why, I'm not usually a poem guy... Be prepared for that fabled thing called 'a poem without rhyme' or 'free verse' or something like that. This is actually the very first poem I did outside of an assignment from school, and I'm quite proud of it! Please tell me what you think!
"Work"
A falling sun painted the sky in burning colors Birds make black shadows over the crisp green grass Apples fall from trees, kicked by a farmer as orange as the sunset. Still so much work to do.
Laughter lights up the twilight sky Light shows off many living colors The light is shown as a strained smile, it's owner as pink as the frosting. Still so much work to do.
Gems reflect the noon sun Beautiful swirls and shiny fabric lie on a mannequin The unicorn frets over her large job. Still so much work to do.
Cyan wings unfurl against the early risen sun A rainbow trail darts across the sky Rainbow mare notices a wall-eyed pony fly towards town hall. Still so much work to do.
Critters rush towards a slumbering Pegasus Shy assertiveness feeds the furry creatures She finds an angelic devil deciding to starve rather than eat lettuce. Still so much work to do.
Moonlight penetrates through a wooden window A scroll tolled up to be burnt tomorrow Lavender scientist tucks in her sleeping scaly friend. No more work to do.

I really enjoyed this actually. Very well done indeed! I like how it seems to run backwards
